Days 1 and 2… I almost did nothing on day 1, but I deciced to flip through a monster book, a classic tactic of inspiration. I used the MMII. I found 3 monsters I definitely wanted to use. They’re what I think of as older edition second-string classics: Catolebpas, Hook Horror and the Death Knight. Inferring clues from these guys would indicate both some swampland and underground adventuring. Today we took the kids to see Shrek 3. From that, I decided that the plot of the adventure would “Liberate the Castle.” :)
I need to figure out some way to incorporate a Holocaust Cloak. I say that because there was a pre-“storm the castle” scene in Shrek 3 similar to that of the Princess Bride. (In fact, I saw another movie recently, where I thought the line would have been appropriate. I don’t remember what though…) |
