| Crazy Alert! |

Or, Alert Crazy, as the case may be. Coming late to the party, we finally activated text-messaging on the cell phones. (My wife was against it, somewhat irrationally…) With my oldest son getting his cell for Christmas, his persistence pushed it through. We also activated internet – super sweet. At any rate, my addiction over the last couple of weeks has been automated updates. I started with Sports and weather. Then, I finally figured out how to get Twitter to work with it. Today, I added stock quotes. Not that I’m a major investor or anything; I added the mutual funds that make up my deferred comp – of which I barely “own” a couple of dozen shares…. So, do I have a problem? Is this just a substitute because I don’t text much w/ real people? Alternatively, what am I missing out there that might be fun or useful? |
