OK, here's the deal. I list my 10 favorite bands/singers/groups and y'all guess my favorite song by that artist. Eventually, I'll post the answers.

In no particular order (well, except for 1 & 2):
1) Rush
2) "Weird" Al Yankovic
3) Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Three Steps (guessed by [info]impeccablesimon )
4) Guns 'N' Roses
5) Tom Petty 
6) Van Halen - Jump (guessed by [info]aardy  )
7) Boston
8) Metallica - One ([info]impeccablesimon )
9) Jimmy Buffett
10) They Might Be Giants

Update/clue: I meant the (and the Heartbreakers) parenthetical to mean it could be either way - for those who really pay attention to the division.  I'll now say the track is offically a "Tom Petty" track.

This is, admittedly, a resurrection of a meme from 3 years ago. However, I did mine originally on another site, and I have more readers now. :D

These are all wild guesses (some wilder than others), but I'm certainly liking the band choices (which makes it all the more difficult to guess which one song someone else considers a "favorite")
